Following the outstanding success of ‘Getting Connected’ - the recycled water plumbing video Kine Graffiti produced for South East Water - City West Water has commissioned us to produce its own version of this tried and trusted original.
From a fledgling independent Australian steel producer in 2002, BlueScope Steel is now a major global steel products manufacturer with close to 25,000 staff and manufacturing plants in Australia, the United States, Vietnam, China, India, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia and New Zealand.
The Victorian Government, BlueScope Steel and South East Water recently launched a new water recycling initiative for the BlueScope Steel’s Western Port plant. Kine Graffiti was there to capture it and to produce a mini-documentary on the new process.

Above, across and under Australia’s land and sea mass, the CSIRO employs a vast array of both simple and highly sophisticated technology to monitor the changing face of our environment.
As this one hour television documentary with Dr. David Smith shows, we are indeed a continent in crisis but in helping to define the scope of our problems, the work of the CSIRO is also pointing the way to an integrated approach to solving them.
As far as Melbourne Victoria Australia’s now dwindling supplies of drinking water are concerned, we’ve been both using and loosing far too much of it for far too long.
Of course there are many uses for which the highest quality drinking water has no substitute - not the least of which is drinking. But washing the car, watering the garden and perhaps most inexplicably of all, flushing the toilet, why do we need our best and purest for these sorts of uses?
